In windows 7 (and possibly also Vista) if you let your mouse go down to the small rectangle at the very bottom right, you are giving windows the 'show desktop' command. You don't have to click, merely let your mouse go into that space. Move it out, and everything goes back to normal from transparent.http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/help/better-stronger-faster-the-windows-7-taskbar
The registry is a huge database where most computer errors like Opened programme windows go transparent - several programmes .. Why ? .. Solution ? .. error come from. When a software was installed or uninstalled incorrectly, sometimes there will be some invalid registry entries of some program files like Opened programme windows go transparent - several programmes .. Why ? .. Solution ? .. are left in the registry. That's why you need to regularly clean those invalid registry entries and keep the registry tidy so that such errors won't bother you.
